Ipek is a certified archetypal astrologer. Her interest in Jungian psychology and Eastern philosophies got her into astrology in 2018. She is currently pursuing her Masters in psychology, emphasizing media and technology. She sees the zodiac as the soul's evolutionary journey rather than rigid statements about personality.  She offers in-person readings, workshops, and events in Brooklyn. Join us for a fun, relaxed, and FREE night of costumed figure drawing set to a theme where the model will dress either in character, in world, or inspired by the month’s theme. See Eventbrite for the current theme. Poses will range from 1 - 10 minutes. A few supplies will be provided but please feel free to bring your own supplies so we can have enough for everyone! All levels are welcome.

For me, dance gives meaning to my life. It aids in my understanding of our world when I cannot use words to find what I am trying to say. It is an essential part of my being, it allows me to have a deeper understanding of emotions, self-awareness, and also prepares me to be open to new ideas and experiences. It has taught me vulnerability ... the immersive dance theater piece, “Please, water the plants when I am gone.” comes out of its hiatus and back into life.

A film, photograph, and movement study based around the concept of rooting and how dance has been woven in and out of my life through my many different growing phases. As time goes on, and what feels most natural, there is no separation between dancer and self. It is what surrounds me constantly.

Please join me in exploring this concept through movement, laughter, and lots of drinking.

Tents are not allowed. Umbrellas are permitted.
